Product Description
When you need personal light, this hands free light delivers features and practical usefulness unmatched by other portable lights. Invented and patented by ASF Lightware Solutions it features: extra wide & extra bright light from 6 LEDs, longer battery life, and an optional external Power Kit. Worn around the neck, it shines a cool & steady light for all needlework & crafts, reading, and searching a dark basement. Use it for writing journals, working, camping, and changing diapers at night. The extra bright light is helpful for those with aging eyes. A switch lets you light all 6 LEDS or just 3 LEDs. 4 alkaline AA batteries (not included) will run for 50 hours shining all 6 LEDs or 100 hours when using 3 LEDs. The longer battery runtime than other lights is especially valuable during a power outage and when traveling. This light is still bright when others have gone dim. No wonder reviewers called it the "most useful, versatile tool I've found in a while". For those with normal vision, the three accessory 4x5 inch Acrylic Fresnel (flat) magnifier lenses (2X, 4X, and 6X) make this light useful for beading, crafts, hobby work, and other tasks where, for short periods, an enlarged view with extra light is helpful. For example, fixing a dropped stitch when knitting. The Fresnel design lenses are NOT intended as a low-vision aid nor to be used for extended durations. Please note this is a LIGHT with accessory plastic lenses and does not substitute for those primarily needing or wanting magnification. The lenses attach to the Beam N Read Hands Free Light with a clip-on hinge so both light and lense are hands free. They can be placed in vertical or horizontal position. The Beam n Read family of Hands-Free Lights includes: BNR LED 3F with 3 LEDs and the BNR Orange & RED Relaxation Filters; BNR LED 6-3F with 6 LEDs and the BNR Orange & RED Relaxation Filters; and the BNR USB/AC Power Kit.
